por inúmeros povos. A principal influência quiçá do povo Judeu que por mais que uma vez na História aqui acorreu, ou
procurar riquezas ou a procurar abrigo.

Since imemorable time known by the abundance of water in the middle of, otherwise dry, lands of Alto Alentejo, it was
sought by numerous peoples. The main influence is probably of the Jewish peoplw that, for more than once in History,
gathered here looking for wealth or looking for shelter.
